Hi everyone!  My name is Samantha.  I’m a freshman at a small catholic college in upstate NY.  I created this blog for my English Writing about Society and Culture class, and what a better way to connect to society than via the web?  I don’t really know much about these things but, I hope to learn more and become well adapted to them. 

As for me, I’m an English major, concentrating in creative writing.  So this ‘blogging’ experience might in the future, be able to give me good feedback.  And for a random fact, I absolutely love Bruce Springsteen.
